We publish a select list and look after every project personally. What counts is academic substance and a subject that matters beyond its own discipline.

What we publish

Monographs, handbooks, practitioner works and dissertations in psychology and education, medicine and healthcare management, business and communication and, new to the programme, law. Legal titles will appear mainly in English, some also in German.

Your proposalA short description of the work, outline, target readership, planned length and timetable, a sample chapter and a few lines about yourself.

The path to publication

From first enquiry to publication

New to the programme: V+M Publishing is expanding into law, with a focus on company law, financial markets law and commercial law. Titles in this area will appear mainly in English, some also in German. Manuscript proposals are welcome.

  1. 01Submit a proposalA short description, outline, target readership and a sample chapter.
  2. 02Editorial reviewWe assess academic quality and fit with the programme and respond promptly.
  3. 03EditingContent and copy-editing through to a print-ready manuscript.
  4. 04Typesetting and productionTypography to house standards, a cover in the house design, print and e-book.
  5. 05Publication and distributionISBN, listing in the German books-in-print directory (VLB) and availability through the book trade.
